Project

Editing of Policy Docs

Type of Project: Proofreading

The executive team needed their policy documents to be improved through proofreading. Knighton subcontracted Anthony to work on the task of looking through more than 50 pages of text and a slide deck.

These policy documents are critical for Grundfos to make the right impression with future business partners. The quality always needs to match the prestige and status of the business as a world-leader in their field.

By getting a professional that speaks English natively, Anthony, they were able to improve their communications to the wider world.

Client Description:

Grundfos is one of the world’s leading water technology companies. Its commitment is to pioneering solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges and improving the quality of life for people.

The company employs around 19,280 people today.

This was delivered in association with Knighton Native.

Project

Website Rewrite

Type of project: Website copy

Roxcel were searching for someone to help them revamp their marketing efforts, looking far and wide for the right person to do it, they tracked down the acclaimed healthcare marketing expert and director – Tess (Donahue) MacGibbon. Tess then sent us the job information – it seemed a perfect fit. Within days we heard back from Gwen who is heading up the marketing for Roxcel.

Not long after that we started collaborating. There were planning and research phases, followed by a writing stage. The total collaboration was for almost sixty hours. In this time we rewrote the website’s core pages.

The main stumbling block for Roxcel prior to this was that there aren’t native-English speakers in the company and they wanted internationally acceptable, perfect delivery of communications to reflect the pedigree of the company and its size. They also wanted to praise their outstanding teams so the rewrite included nods to them. Also, prior to our involvement the copy had been dull and the opposite of inspiring, completely misrepresenting the wonderful work they do – which is not what you want when you’re about to start a major recruitment drive!

Client Description:

Through a deep understanding of the pulp, paper and board trading industries, Roxcel delivers unbeatable service to partners across the entire business cycle. As a recognised, respectable name across the globe, they have built a reputation underpinned by trust, expertise and fairness.

Roto Pumps

Project

Email Copy Rewrite

Type of Project: Email Series

We were chosen by one of our largest clients, Iage, to assist the diverse and successful Indian pump manufacturer Roto Pumps to improve a series of emails aimed at potential customers around the world- with a focus on India.

The series was written in English that was somewhat subpar. It was not particularly exciting and so for certain sections it needed a serious amount of fun-injection in order to appeal to recipients.

In the end it turned out to almost be a complete rewrite, with us introducing the marketing team at the company to conventions and practices that will vastly improve their own abilities when it comes to outreach. All in all, it was a very successful project.

Client Description:

A globally preferred brand in positive displacement pumps, Roto is a public listed company with presence across 5 continents and a rich legacy of over 50 years. Established in 1968, Roto Pumps is the pioneer manufacturer of progressive cavity pumps in India, renowned for providing efficient and reliable pumping solutions to a diverse range of industries including wastewater, sugar, paper, paint, renewable energy and power, mining and explosives, marine and defense and many more.

Delivered in partnership with Iage.

Urb-it

Project

Series of Blogs

Type of Project: Blogs

Focus7 an agency who we have on ongoing relationship with, had the need for content come through from Urb-it, a noble sustainability brand.

We were charged with creating some blogs to profile the company and add clout and depth – rather than filler – to their blog. These are the initial blog titles and hence blogs that Anthony wrote.

  1. Air Quality and Ultra Low Emission Zones
  2. It’s almost a year since Urb-it joined B Corp – why did they do that? What does it mean to be a B Corp? What difference has it made to the company and its customers?
  3. Sustainability in the Beauty Sector

The project was yet another successful one with modest editing necessary, minimal revisions and less than a handful of improvements to the statistical references after the first phase and initial blog completion.

Client Description:

A rapidly growing sustainable logistics platform – with big ambitions to create a positive impact on society and the environment.

Founded in 2014, Urb-it is a Swedish entrepreneurial company headquartered in Stockholm and listed on Nasdaq Nordic.

Veronica Bogdacenco AKA

Project

Fresh Website Copy (for a technical Freelancer)

Type of Project: Website Copy

Veronica is an experienced marketing maven who has established herself with many companies in the UK for about a decade.

We met Veronica through Prime Dash. When working with the team at the company, Veronica was our main point of contact as she was working on some other aspects of marketing for the Romanian Fintech business-forecasting pioneers.

After she witnessed our skill and dedication first-hand she had no hesitation hiring us a couple of months later to write basic freelancer homepage copy – around 3000 words – that she could use to sell her optimisation services.

She loved the end result and our collaboration and tip-sharing continues to this day.

Client Description:

After working for years on various digital marketing channels, Veronica Bogdacenco realised that the thing she loved the most is optimisation: for search engines, for conversion and for improved user experience. As Veronica states, “Rather than chasing the next big thing in marketing or technology, I think the focus should be on doing the basics as best as possible.”

Despite her specific Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager job title, Veronica works on improving everything that can potentially impact the end user experience and consequently revenue.
